Pick up from your hotel in Surabaya. Get comfy in the car as we start the midnight ride toward Mount Bromo.
03.00 – 03.30
Arrive at the jeep parking area and switch to a 4WD jeep. Get ready for a bumpy but exciting ride across the mountain roads.
04.00 – 05.30
Reach the viewpoint at Penanjakan (or King Kong Hill, depending on conditions). Wait for the magic moment as the sun rises and lights up Mount Bromo, Mount Batok, and Mount Semeru in the background.
06.00 – 07.30
Head down to the Sea of Sand and hike (or ride a horse if you like, exclude) to the Bromo crater. Climb the stairs to the rim and look inside the smoking volcano.
09.00-10.00
Drive back to the jeep parking area, then continue the journey back to Surabaya.
